VALERIE PONS

Valerie was born in 1960 in Aix en Provence. She was an art student at the Nice "Lycée Masséna." Her paintings are full of poetry, humor and joyfulness; a marvelous and surprising world between dreams and surrealism.

Her favorite topics include her town, the countryside, animals, and imaginary lands like those in fairy stories. The colors in her work are always bright and cheerful.

Valerie first exhibited her work at gallery Naifs et Primitifs in Paris in 1993.
