PASCAL PLAZANET

Born in 1963 in Paris, Pascal Plazanet is the older of two boys, and has been drawing since he was 11 years old. He studied at Lycee Buffon Fine Arts until 1981, thereafter studying architecture for eight years. He graduated in 1991.

His source of inspiration was comic strips, cartoons and historical movies. In 1966 he sold two paintings at "Hotel Drouot", the famous auction house in Paris. He participated in a large number of prestigious exhibitions in and around Paris, in addition to having his work exhibited in the Agora Gallery, and Art Present Gallery in the Beaubourg area. His work was also featured in a recent exhibition entitled the Group of Four.

In 2000 he participated at the Naifs and Primitifs show; in 2001 his work was included at the ceremony between Pantin and Moscow, and in 2002 he had a one man show at the Cevennes Gallery. He passion is for painting, classical and computer drawing; his hobby is making models.
