CLYV

Born in 1955 in Hericourt in eastern France, Clyv lived in the Paris area and become a teacher of Mathematics. At the same time, however, she was also very interested in artistic expression, and during her leisure she explored working in different types of art, including fabrics, batik, silk, painting, weaving, mosaic, model making and pottery.

In 1991 she discovered watercolor, and felt that she had found her artistic medium. Since then, she has had several successful exhibitions in art shows, including in Paris in 2000 at the Naifs et Primitifs show, and recently in Miami, Florida in the United States.

She has created postcards for Cartes d'Art (seventy different designs), and a card "bank" for a Bank in Japan (over 600,000 copies). She has also published six art repreductions for the Japanese market and two lithographs marketed in Finland. Clyv is married, and has two daughters, and two jobs: teacher and artist.
